Avril is a dynamic photographer, videographer, and production co-ordinator based in Cork, Ireland, with a strong foundation in visual arts. She graduated with honours from Photography with New Media at MTU, where her talent was recognised and awarded through the 'Ar Scath A Cheile' exhibition channel.
Her portfolio boasts a diverse array of projects, from captivating event portraits to candid documentary-style work and commercial photography.
Avril has earned the trust of esteemed clients such as Cork Opera House, Seanchoíche, Cork Pride, and many more, reflecting her reputation for excellence within the industry. Known for her collaborative approach, she explores themes of identity and community in her artistic work, including 'Behind The Curtain', focusing on queer experiences in Cork and beyond.
Residing in Cork, working all over Ireland, Avril has excelled at creating imagery within Irish music, fashion and community spaces.
